Eye Treatment in India
Cataract, glaucoma, LASIK vision correction and corneal transplant surgery.
Why India for this treatment?
India combines world-class clinical expertise with costs 60–80% below Europe and the United States. Our partner hospitals hold JCI and NABH accreditation, their consultants are largely UK- and US-trained, and Arabic interpretation is available around the clock.
Preparing for treatment
Preparation begins when you send recent medical reports, imaging and laboratory results by WhatsApp or through the free consultation form. The medical team reviews the case and issues a treatment plan with an indicative quotation within 24–48 hours. Once approved, we issue the medical invitation letter required for your medical visa.
Treatment options
The final plan is set after clinical examination and diagnostic imaging at the hospital. Options typically range from medical management, through minimally invasive endoscopic or catheter-based intervention, to open surgery where indicated. The cost table below sets out the most common procedures and the expected length of stay for each.
What the cost covers
Published prices are indicative and normally include surgical team fees, theatre charges, hospital stay, in-patient medication and the first post-discharge review. They exclude flights and hotel accommodation for accompanying family. The final figure is confirmed after clinical assessment at the hospital.
Recovery and follow-up
You remain under hospital observation for the period shown in the table, then move to accommodation near the hospital for convalescence and review appointments. We schedule every follow-up and investigation before you travel, and provide a detailed English-language discharge summary for continuing care at home.
Possible risks
As with any medical procedure there are risks, including infection, bleeding and reactions to anaesthesia, alongside complications specific to each procedure which your treating consultant will explain before you consent. Choosing an accredited hospital and a high-volume team materially reduces these risks.
